We were already going to throw a New Year’s party in the courtyard with the entire kingdom. Naturally, everyone was welcome to come.
Closer towards the end of the night, the crowds faded and it was just Anna and myself and the servants left to clean up. Anna convinced me to drink wine with her. I hadn’t ever drank like that before (I’m unsure if Anna has) and I must say it… had its moments.
I should’ve known how it would be in the morning, seeing as I hadn’t eaten a thing all day.
Some events left me wanting answers.
