ice-bjorn:

Please don’t remind me to feel
Believe me, the danger is real

You don’t know the things that I can do
Keep your distance ‘cause, I can’t lose you

I can’t lose you, try to see

I’m trying to tell you that
I can’t lose you, like before
As much as I wish I can’t open that door

If you loved yourself the way I do
Then you’d see why I can’t lose you

I got the chance to see the national tour of Frozen Broadway this weekend and this is pretty
much how “I Can’t Lose You” ends- with Elsa just as desperate to embrace
Anna as Anna is to hold Elsa- and in the final notes they step into one
another as Anna wraps her arms around her sister, finally. It
absolutely struck me how fiercely they gravitated towards each other,
and yet, still- with her hands being the most dangerous conduit of her magic- Elsa can’t let herself touch Anna.

It was such a powerful moment, and I’m still devastated.
