THIS WAS NOT MY IDEA! This is a re-drawn comic, the original is here, drawn by CubeWatermelon! And I made sure to check with her first and got her permission before posting this.
I was so moved by this simple idea, since it didn’t occur to me until my second viewing of the movie that – holy crap, yah. Elsa wasn’t present at their parents’ funeral. I also have a deep love of drawing reeaaaally intense expressions so I when I saw her lovely art I felt compelled to draw those same expressions, in the Jin Kim/Disney style.
This was in no way an attempt to “improve” the art, as CubeWatermelon has a wonderful style already. I mainly just wanted to see the expressions in another way, and many thanks to her for allowing me to share this.
